Wolves Win Their First Game of the 25/26 Season

On the night of the Wolf moon, Wolverhampton Wanderers bared their teeth against West Ham United who were torn to shreds by Wolves 3-0 at the Molineux Stadium. It all started off with an early goal from Jhon Arias to get his first in the Premier League. The Colombian star had taken a while to get truly going in the side and makes his mark in the 4th minute from a pass in from Hwang Hee Chan. Later in the first half, a lazy and wild challenge by Magassa takes down young Mané in the box. Hwang Hee Chan converts the penalty sweetly and thumps it in to make it 2-0 wolves in only the 31st minute. Just 10 minutes later, a quick throw gives Mané a chance outside the box and he scores brilliantly from Hugo Bueno’s delivery and it’s 3-0 to Wolves against West Ham after 41 minutes. It stays that way until the half-time whistle blows. The second half is a wonderful defensive performance from Wolves as they not only keep a clean sheet, but don’t allow a single shot on target, while getting themselves 8 on target alone. They dominated the match quite honestly, a shocking result for West Ham but a masterful victory for Wolves who were oh so hungry for a win. This will give Wolves massive confidence going forward and could spell doom for West Ham who are severely struggling to pick up points.
